My Eagle Scout project is an outdoor kiosk in Heights Park, benefiting the city of Richardson, TX. The project aims to educate park-goers about the plants they will find in the area. It will be located at the bottom of the hill by the playground, near the entrance to the creek. Kids can learn about the local plants, and then point them out as they see them. The kiosk will be sturdy and built to last. My goal is for it to last upwards of 50 years.
With concrete, fence posts, aluminum sign printing, and food for volunteers, the anticipated cost of the project is $400. Any and all contributions are very appreciated. Donors will be thanked with personal thank-you letter. Any excess funds will be donated to the City of Richardson.
