Eagle Scout Project Fundraising - James Moore

Hello, my name is James Moore and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 50 located in West Los Angeles, California.  I am 17 years old, and have been a part of this troop for the past 6 years.  In order for me to achieve my final rank (Eagle), I need to complete my Eagle project.   The Eagle project is when you plan, prepare, and carry out a large project that will help affect the community in a positive way.

For my project, we will be building 4 benches and 2 tables and providing some large potted plants to help beautify a courtyard located in the Veteran's Affairs hospital in West Los Angeles. My project will provide the staff and patients a place to relieve stress and relax during a busy or tough day. In order to provide the best quality outdoor tables and benches, the project will be quite expensive.  This is because the benches and tables will be constructed with powder coated metal legs and Trex (A durable composite wood for outdoor use).   Any donation is much appreciated and will go towards this much needed project that will bring smiles to those who need it the most during these tough times.
