My name is Aadi Desai and I am a Senior at Mt. Hebron High School. I have been part of Troop 874 for the past 6 years and involved in the scouting program for 10 years. I am currently working toward the rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts of America, which is the highest achievement in scouting. As part of this journey, I am organizing an Eagle project that will directly benefit the students at William Baer School in Baltimore, a school dedicated to teaching children with special needs. My project involves building a bench and a double-sided easel for the kids to use and enjoy in their playground while honing their writing skills. In addition to these new features, we will also be cleaning up the playground by removing any trash and debris to create a safer and more welcoming environment.
The funds raised will go toward purchasing the necessary supplies and materials for the bench and easel, as well as any tools or equipment needed for the cleanup. All money raised will go directly to this cause at William Baer School. This project is meaningful to me because I want to give back to my community and help create a space where every child feels included and supported. Your support will help make this project possible and bring a smile to the faces of kids who truly deserve it.
If you are able to contribute, any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering supporting my Eagle project and helping me reach this important milestone in my scouting journey.
