Eagle Scout Project for VFW Post 2924

PURPOSE: In addition to providing service and fulfilling the part of the Scout Oath, “to help other people at all times,” one of the primary purposes of the Eagle Scout service project is to demonstrate, hone, learn, and develop leadership skills. This service project will teach me valuable life lessons in leadership, selfless service, commitment, and teamwork.

GOAL: To provide the VFW Post 2924 with a Women’s Memorial, flagpole, and building improvement, to honor all Veterans, and live the Scout Oath.

PROJECT DETAILS:

Women’s Memorial

VFW Post 2924 Sign – 20ft wide X 3ft tall

Flagpole – 30 ft

Concrete Base – For the flagpole

Lights – For the memorial, flagpole, and building

Building Paint and repair – Front of the building
