Eagle Scout Project for Tyler State Park

Hello, my name is Owen Boyes. I am currently a Life scout and the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 147 in Holland PA. I would like to ask you for financial support in fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project, which is building 2 picnic tables for Tyler State Park in Newtown PA. I choose this for my project because I saw the condition of some of the picnic tables at the park. Over the past couple of years, the tables have been eroding from weather, vandalized, and need replacement. I wanted to build new ones, so visitors have a safe place to sit and enjoy the park as I do. I plan on using more durable materials like recycled plastic lumber instead of wood to make sure that the tables have a long service life for the park. I hope this project will inspire future Scouts to build more tables for the park.

Once I reach my goal, I plan on completing my project in the spring of 2023. Any donations above my goal will be donated to Tyler State Park.
