Hi! My name is Gabe Rodgers. I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 15 based at First United Methodist Church in Sherman, TX . I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout project which is a Flag Retirement Collection Box to be installed at the Sherman Fire Station 4-Progressive Park. My goal is to raise $2,500 which is the cost to purchase and install the collection box.

Without a proper means for retirement, flags are often stored in a dusty garage or thrown away in the trash. Having a collection box that can be easily accessed by citizens, we can safely store flags until they can be disposed of in a dignified and respectful ceremony.
