Eagle Scout Project - Build a Toy Shed For Wildwood School
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cameron Jenks. I am a senior at Wilmington High School and a member of the Scouts of America, Troop 56, in Wilmington. Currently, I am working towards my Eagle Scout rank and as a part of that process, I am doing a service project to help my community. My project is to construct a shed to house toys for the children of the Wildwood Early Childhood Center in Wilmington.
Recently, the kindergarten had to be relocated from their previous building due to safety concerns with the building. The children were then relocated to a section of the Wilmington Middle School. However, the Wilmington Middle School students do not have recess, and as a result, the kindergarteners were left with little to no recess equipment to play with.
My project is to build an 8x8 shed out of wood and purchase new toys for the children to play with. The money raised will go towards a shed building materials and new toys. This project is special to my family and is important for the children who attend the Wildwood School. If you can donate to help with the cost of materials and new toys, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
