Eagle Scout Project - Baseball Dugout Rebuilt
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Soren; I am a scout from Troop 44 in Haddam, CT. I am working on my Eagle Scout Project to rebuild the baseball dugout at the American Legion Field in Moodus, CT.
As a baseball player whose team uses this field as our home field, I feel bad that visiting teams do not have a space for their gear and a way to get out of the weather. Visiting teams do not have a functional dugout and are stuck in the sun or under pop-up tents. A few years ago, the dugout was destroyed in a tropical storm and was unsafe to use.
This project helps the American Legion Post 156 return their field to a useable condition and helps the Bearcats Baseball organization by providing a place to practice and host games. As a member of the U16 team, it will be nice to have our field fully functional again.
The funds raised will help with the raw materials needed to complete this project. Any leftover funds will be donated to the American Legion.
Thank you,
