My name is Cooper. I am a graduating senior with Troop 56 in Belmont, NC working toward my Eagle Scout rank. For my Eagle project at Rocky Branch Park, I’m building an observation deck near the outpost with built-in seating so families can comfortably watch the bikers, along with a low-to-the-ground obstacle course to give kids a safe place to play off the main trails. The deck will also serve as a great picture spot for visitors to capture their time at the park.

All the labor is volunteered and the core materials for the project are expected to cost about $6,000. However, my fundraising goal is $10,000 so we can leave the park with additional funds to help keep the trails maintained, updated and improved with anything else the park may need.
