Eagle Scout Project: Accessible Ramp for Equestrian Center

Donation protected
My name is Kale Barnes and I’m a Life Scout with Troop 12 based out of Fort Collins, CO. As part of earning the rank of Eagle, I’m leading a community service project that will make a lasting impact.

For my Eagle project, I’m building a wheelchair-accessible ramp at Complete Equestrian (501c3 non-profit org), a local therapeutic riding center in Northern Colorado. This ramp will make it easier and safer for riders with disabilities to mount and dismount their horses.

I’m raising funds to cover the cost of building materials. $900 is the min required to complete the project; however, my end goal is $1,500 to allow for the use of composite decking, which will offer greater durability and lower maintenance over time.

NOTE: excess donations not used for building materials will be directed to Complete Equestrian 501c3 to support youth scholarships.

Thank you in advance for your support!
