My son is working on his Eagle Scout project and is raising money for a community project. Here are details from Avery about his project:
My name is Avery, and I have been a dedicated scout since first grade, joining Pack 1455 and spending nearly 11 years learning, growing, and serving my community. As I approach the end of my scouting journey, I am planning an Eagle Scout project that will leave a lasting impact on my community. The plan is to construct a GaGa Ball Pit at our local community center for public use.
The inspiration for this project came from my experience as a summer camp counselor, where I saw firsthand how much the kids wanted to play Gaga Ball. Unfortunately, there was no pit available anywhere nearby, and I recognized a need for more recreational opportunities for children in town. By creating a space where kids can gather, play, and just have fun, I hope to encourage children to be healthy, active, and social.
The funds raised will help offset the cost of materials, including lumber, screws, and brackets, making it possible to bring this vision to life. I invite anyone who supports this project to contribute and help provide a new recreational opportunity for the children of our community. Your support will not only help me complete my Eagle Scout journey but also create a lasting gift for generations to come.
