Hello!

My name is Joshua and I am a Life scout in Troop 509 of La Cañada, CA, working towards my Eagle rank.

My project is replacing an old wooden staircase at my elementary school, Mountain Avenue. I will be constructing a new staircase in a similar style, made of pressure-treated lumber and steel rebar. Your contribution will be used to help purchase these materials and other necessary supplies. Any unspent funds will be donated to Mountain Avenue. I greatly appreciate any and all contributions!

I have been a scout since second grade and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I have learned a lot, from both a knowledge and a personal standpoint. It has taken me places I could have never imagined, including the mountains of New Mexico and the lakes of Minnesota. Scouting has shaped who I am today. Earning my Eagle will be the perfect finish to my Scouting career as a youth member, and with your donations I can finally achieve this huge milestone. Thank you for your generosity and support!
