My name is Hannah Talbott and I am currently a Life Scout with Troop 235 in Brookfield, CT. I am working on my Eagle Project at The Silo at Hunt Hill Farms in New Milford, CT, where I am building a trail around a small pond.

The trail has already been cleared, but I need funds in order to buy wood and other materials in order to build two small bridges and a number of boardwalks in various places on the trail. If possible, I would also love to add other amenities however my ability to do that is dependent on your support! Any donations would be greatly appreciated to make this happen!

The goal of this trail is to create a space in nature for people in the community to enjoy the outdoors. In building this trail, I am focusing on the environment and accessibility as the current owner of Hunt Hill Farms is working with a company based in Brazil, Instituto Montanha para Todos, to develop a chair, the Julietti, that allows those with disabilities and limited mobility to experience hiking and walking trails. In creating my trail, I am ensuring that all areas will be compatible with the chair, which will be extremely beneficial to its use and will hopefully make it easier for more people to be able to use the chair as it will then be able to be used on-site rather than transported somewhere else.
