My name is Zachary Albers and I am a scout from Troop 681. I am a Life Scout which means that I am one rank away from Eagle. To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, I need to complete an Eagle Scout Service Project. I have chosen to complete my project for Urbanlife Ministries. I will be constructing a greenhouse as a replacement for their old and almost unusable one. Urbanlife ministries is an organization which helps teenagers in underserved communities. They teach leadership values and life skills. One of the ways they develop these skills is through an opportunity to work in their garden and sell what they grow in their market. I was inspired by this organization’s mission and wanted to help out in any way I could. That is why I chose to do my Eagle Project for them.

I am planning to begin work by early February and need money to begin the project. I am hoping to raise $4,500 in order to pay for the greenhouse kit and other necessary supplies. I have already received a $2,500 grant from the Village Church, a mission partner of Urbanlife. I would really appreciate any help I can get in obtaining the remaining $2,000.
