Eagle Project airplane for Boys and Girls club
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ben Chance. I am a Life Scout in Troop 308, and I am working on my Eagle project. For the project, I am renovating an old abandoned Piper airplane to be safe for kids to play in; and then donating it to an organization. As a kid, I loved to play in hands-on environments, and I want to give other kids that same opportunity to have fun and learn about aviation.
The original plan was to donate it to the Boys and Girls Club of Menifee, but they can no longer host the airplane. It is almost ready, so we are considering different options. Please let me know if your organization is interested in a roadshow, in hosting the airplane, or if you know someone who can help.
The money I am raising will go towards paint, repairs, and transportation:

Current progress on the project:
The entire plane has been painted and reassembled. We are currently working on preparing the airplane for roadshows at local organizations or events.
I am posting every day with an update on progress here.
