Each One Welcome One by CHAN

Tax deductible
Tens of thousands of desperate people have crossed the U.S. southern border and turned themselves into Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents. Reasons vary – persecution, war, gang violence and poverty. All have left behind their friends, family, home and community; something people do not do if they have other options.

Many individuals and families are now on the streets. They have nowhere to go. No family or friends. No English language skills. Not just in Washington DC, New York City, Chicago and the Border cities – but 150+ in Denver. Denver Gazette. There are many ways you, your organization, your neighborhood, your faith community or your friend group can help.

$5.00 - $50.00 Every donation accumulates into the most significant difference in someone's life.

Your donation will directly support people who have come to Colorado from the Southern Border, including families sent here with false promises of help.

In November, Colorado Hosting Asylum Network chose to lean in – to ease the burden on border cities by welcoming newly-arrived people collaboratively and compassionately. CHAN placed five families in secure housing thanks to our donors and volunteers.

Last week, we worked with partner organizations and local officials to get two families out of the city's emergency stand-up shelter and into a host home or an affordable and safe apartment. Denver 9 News

This week, CHAN moved a family of 6 from the Denver Community Church Welcome Center to their host home as well as found housing for two more newly-arrived families. Right now, we are hustling to find housing for five more families.

These families, who are arriving in Denver with nowhere to go, will be your beneficiaries. You will help them find a place to live, form crucial relationships, and connect to community resources such as health clinics and food banks.

Your generosity will provide them necessities such as rent, basic furniture and cookware, groceries, and winter outerwear.

Sharing this campaign with your family members, friends and colleagues who might be interested in joining this humanitarian effort is as helpful as donating. Please email them the link or share it on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

We will publish regular updates here to keep you informed about our progress. Please stay tuned & follow us on social media.

CHAN has been in the local and national news: Axios Denver and Associated Press.
