Mission Malawi 2026 - Great Minds Bright Futures
Fourteen years ago I embarked on an unforgettable journey with the Mission Malawi cycle challenge. Visiting the charities supported by Action Aid was a deeply humbling experience. I am profoundly grateful to everyone who donated to this noble cause, helping to transform the lives of countless women and children affected by HIV and AIDS.
Malawi, despite being the poorest country in Africa, is affectionately known as “the Warm Heart of Africa.” My 2010 trip opened my eyes to the breathtaking beauty of this country and the incredible warmth of its people. It was an unforgettable experience that touched my heart and changed my life forever.
In Spring 2026, I will return to Malawi, accompanied by four dedicated colleague - Sam, Antoin, Sebastian and Chris. I am thrilled to invite you to join us in making a real difference. We are raising funds for GREAT MINDS BRIGHT FUTURES, and every single donation will have a powerful impact.
The Physical Challenge:
Cycle over 400km in 5 days
Conquer the heights of Mount Mulanje
Kayak across the serene lake to Mumbo Island
Visit 3 of the charity locations we are supporting
Spend the last 3 to 4 days in Dowa, building much-needed accommodation for teachers at the orphans’ school
We are fundraising both as a team and individually, with the hope of raising greater awareness and making the most significant impact possible. Together, we can change lives and create a brighter future for these children.
