Hello everyone!

I created this fundraiser for my brother and sister-in-law's first child, Anthony! Since Anthony was born, there have been some unexpected concerns regarding his health (see below). Michael and Sara have remained faithful and strong throughout this whole process - but with such a long hospital stay, the medical costs have added up.

In his one month of life he has had:

Daily, if not more, xrays

9 echocardiograms

8 ultrasounds

A lumbar puncture/spinal tap

A MRI

A Ballon valvuloplasty of pulmonary valve in the cath lab

Feeding tube and nasogastric tube to remove stomach contents

He has been on nasal canula, high flow nasal cannula, CPAP, and Intubated/breathing tube

Numerous central lines and peripheral IVs, umbilical lines

Upper and lower GI study

He has been on numerous antibiotics

Incision and drainage of abscess

Multiple blood transfusions, platelets, and cryotherapy

His diagnoses include:

Intrauterine growth restriction

Central apnea

Congenital heart disease

Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum (now functional pulmonary atresia)

Polysplenia

Interrupted inferior vena cava with azygous continuation

Right ventricle dysfunction

Tricuspid regugitation

Sinus bradycardia and ectopic atrial rhythm

Potential for intestinal malrotation

History of: supraventricular tachycardia, disseminated intramuscular coagulation, and nectrotizing enterocolitis
