Two weeks ago, Billie got a surprise message out of the blue from an old friend, calling with an opportunity to adopt!
Bruce & Billie had decided, after the incredible blessing of their adoption of Kinnick in 2015, that they weren’t applying to adopt again...unless something unexpected fell into their laps.
And now something unexpected has fallen into their laps.
They gave it a lot of thought - could they raise the money in time & complete the legal steps necessary? The due date of November 19 would be here soon!
They felt God’s plan coming together & felt that it was a calling & it was meant to be.
They are thrilled to be welcoming another baby & also overwhelmed by the many things to accomplish before he (yes, he!) arrives.
