Support Mike's Journey Through Brain Cancer
Donation protected
It's been nearly two years since we started this GoFundMe campaign, following my husband's devastating brain cancer diagnosis in September 2023. In that time, this brave USMC veteran has faced two brain surgeries, radiation, and now requires bi-weekly travel for crucial chemotherapy treatments for this aggressive disease. Tragically, the second surgery resulted in the removal of a nerve, causing him to lose peripheral vision in his left eye, making driving incredibly challenging and these frequent trips even more difficult. As a result, he had to stop working, and while he now receives SSDI, it barely covers our mounting bills and the added expense of constant travel. I'm now at home providing his full-time care, as he can no longer drive long distances and faces the constant risk of seizures. We remain deeply grateful for the donations received over the past two years, which have helped us navigate this challenging journey. To help him regain some independence, ease the burden of these essential trips, honor his service, and provide a safer way to get to his appointments, we are humbly asking for continued support in acquiring a vehicle equipped with essential safety features. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us and would be deeply appreciated as we navigate this incredibly challenging journey.
