Costa Rica Ocean Preservation Trip

Hello family and friends, thank you for visiting my page. As part of my scholarship at St. Peter's I am given the chance to participate in service trips. These trips are designed have a focus on both education and service. Part of the deal is I am asked to raise a portion of the money for the trip myself. I have chosen to participate in a service trip to Costa Rica. The trip is designed to teach students about ocean conservation. Having spent many summers at Breezy Point, I am very interested in learning more about the oceans and how we can protect and enhance them for generations to come. The link below offers more details. I am very excited to participate in such a unique experience. I have plans to save money from my job at the local Metuchen ice cream parlor, What's the Scoop, and I will be working as a lifeguard over the summer to fund the trip. Unfortunately these efforts will not be enough to cover the entire cost of the trip. So I am here asking for your help. The goal is to raise $2000 by the end of March.
