My name is Samantha Moore/Chambers. I was born and raised in the rural area of New Ramble Bogue, Montego Bay, Jamaica. I now live in Seattle, Washington. I am the main provider for my family, but this time, this is too much for just me, so I am raising funds for my sister and brothers. We lost our mom 3 years ago and dad 2 years ago, a year apart, so my bigger sister, my little brother, and my niece are the only ones residing in the family home. Life can change in an instant, and my family is facing one of the hardest moments we’ve ever known. A hurricane has left us struggling emotionally and financially, and we’re reaching out for help during this time of need. This money will be used for grocery items and building materials for rebuilding we were badly affected by Hurricane Melissa. We lost our grocery shop, which was my sister and brother's main source of income. We lost our family home as well. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express. If you’re not able to donate, simply sharing this campaign would still mean the world to us. From the bottom of my heart — thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us through this difficult chapter.
