Please help Andrew’s Fight against Large Bcell Lymphoma

Hi. My name is Patricia and I’m trying to raise some funds to help cover costs for my nephew Andrew during his battle with Large Bcell lymphoma. Andrew was diagnosed last March and he did undergo chemotherapy treatment but unfortunately it did not give him the results he needed. The lymphoma did not all go away and some tumors actually got larger. He has now just finished doing 10 rounds of radiation as well as some more chemotherapy. This Friday he will be admitted to Princess Margaret cancer research hospital here in Toronto to receive a new cancer treatment called Car T Therapy. He has had T cells removed several weeks ago which have been scientifically modified to fight cancer of the Bcells to kill off the lymphoma. We are hopeful that this new treatment will work but the risks and side effects are plentiful.

Andrew will have the Tcells put back into him on Friday and he will have to spend 7-14 days in hospital to be closely monitored for any of the possible side effects. After he is discharged he will be monitored on an out patient basis 2-3 times weekly for a couple months and as needed.

We have been having to use Uber to travel to and from all of these appointments which cost $50 up to $75 round trip per day. Which as of today is close to $1400.

Andrew hasn’t been able to work since his diagnosis so we are trying to help him with financial aid.

The funds raised will help cover the uber costs, medication costs, food costs and anything else that is needed to help keep Andrew as healthy and as strong as possible.
