Early Wednesday morning at 4:00 am, as my cousin and his husband were asleep, the cars in the garage beneath their condo were lit on fire. (It is yet unknown if it was a crime of arson). The two of them woke up with their entire home engulfed in flames, which they immediately had to flee from. They lost everything from their life, including their beloved cat.
In the course of a few hours, everything they owned, wallets, computers, life possessions, and family mementos, all burnt away with their house. Everything was gone.
Thankfully, the two of them are unharmed. However, they are left with nothing at the moment. No extra set of clothes, shoes, or place of comfort other than what family and friends can provide for them temporarily.
If you or anyone you know could help them in their time of need, it would be a huge help and kindness. They need any and all help to replace and rebuild a lifetime of accumulated basics and life’s possessions.
