Hi, my name is James, and my sisters and I are reaching out for support for our brother, John, who is going through an incredibly challenging time.

Over the past several years, John has been silently struggling with depression, hoarding behavior, and isolation. We only recently discovered the extent of his suffering, and it’s been heartbreaking to see how much he’s been carrying alone.

His health has declined drastically—he’s lost over 150 pounds and is now battling life-threatening anemia. He also has a colonoscopy coming up to check for possible colon cancer. On top of his health concerns, his living environment had become unsafe due to the extent of his hoarding, and we had to remove most of his belongings to make sure he could recover in a safe space.

He’s been unable to work and is now behind on rent, with no food in his house and very little left to call his own. He urgently needs a safe, clean place to heal, along with essentials like furniture, clothing, and nutritious food.

We’re doing everything we can to support him emotionally and help him get the urgent medical care he needs. But he needs more help than we can provide on our own.
