E.F. San Juan is a  small key employer in this unicorporated community with 75 employees(and their families) who received a direct hit from catastrophic Category  4, Hurricane Michael on October 10th. 

The employees of E.F, San Juan are located in Youngstown, Florida in Bay County, north of Mexico Beach and  northeast of Panama City Beach.  

The purpose of this effort is to support these families as they rebuild their lives from this tragic disaster.

E.F. San Juan is a Loewen Dealership as well as a family owned custom millwork company. Harry Richmond,  works directly with the company and their team members to provide Loewn products through out the Florida panhandle.

These 75 employees and their families are now struggling to recover from the path of destruction and are in need of support to meet basic needs, such as gasoline, housing, clothing, cleaning supplies for both indoor and outdoor property loss to begin rebuilding their lives. 

Water damage and Mold is a major issue which requires massive cleanup and caused most to have lost everything in their homes, leaving them with the clothes on their backs and little else. Temporary housing consists of expensive hotels and creates commuting challenges

As of 10/22/18, they are all still without power and  are displaced from homes with major damage.  They are currently struggling without cell/ internet service, along with gasoline  which is difficult to come by due to traffic congestion and lack of gas stations.

Their need is urgent and critical to assist with the recovery efforts for these families and help restore a sense of normalcy to their lives as they start the process of clean up and rebuilding the community.

Timing is critical as it takes significant time for FEMA and Insurance support to become available.

We are calling  on each of you for your support to meet their most immediate basic needs.
