On October 23 my life as Messiah's Mother was forever changed. It was a normal day for my Son. He had done his usual shift at Amazon, his full-time job and afterwards logged on to do some Lyft rides as he sometimes did on the side. Unbeknownst to Messiah as he picked up his passenger near Brookshire Blvd, it was a menace who was shooting in cars attempting to carjack drivers. This monster forever changed 2 Mother's lives by pure evil! Messiah along with another gentleman was shot by the menace. One passed on Thursday. My Son was transported to Atrium to their Trauma ICU unit. Even though Messiah had his driver's license, cmpd detective felt it appropriate to list my Son as John doe. Furthermore inflicting irreversible pain on the family. On October 24th , I was called by Atrium to answer questions, to identify who might be my son. I arrived to one of the most heartbreaking sights a mother could ever see. My Son had been shot in the head where on 10/26 he had succumb to his injuries. Messiah was a great Son, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Nephew & friend. He loved working out. Because his body was in top shape, I made the hard decision to make him a donor. I in good conscience know that if he could help 100's of people, he would. Messiah was such a Handsome, Smart, Funny, Stylish Guy. He met no strangers. I am asking if you find it in your heart,to please donate whatever amount, so that he can be laid to rest properly and with dignity. A Great Life gone too soon! Son you are loved & you are missed!
