Dear friends and family,
As most of you know, my Bar Mitzvah is coming up very soon. However, some of you might not know that I am doing something called a Mitzvah project, which is where I raise money for a cause or charity.
For my Mitzvah project, I am raising money for a place called Momma Chef’s Soup Kitchen at Congregation K.I.N.S., which opens in October. This is a place that will provide free hot meals and a bagged lunch on Tuesday evenings for less fortunate people who cannot afford them and are hungry. I am going to sponsor as many nights at the soup kitchen as possible, in addition to volunteering my time to serve the meals. The more I raise, the more people I can feed. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and 100% of your donations will go towards the cost of the food and supplies.
