"It takes a village.” We have all alluded to this mantra and are asking for support for a family committed to our "village" for years.

My name is Kathy and I am representing a group of close friends and neighbors concerned for the welfare of another family in our neighborhood. The family we are helping has been committed to our "village" for years.  For three generations, the family in need has lived, worked, and flourished here within the area schools, community sports, and their beloved synagogue. Many hearts and souls have been touched by this family's generous, welcoming, and loving nature.  

You have likely come to this page as a result of the personal outreach being done outside of this platform by those who care so deeply about this family.  We hope that you can respect that the family wishes to remain anonymous on this public forum in order to protect their children.

 

Due to some immediate financial constraints, we are now at risk of losing these cherished human beings from our neighborhood. There is crucial urgency in raising funds to stabilize their housing situation, save the home they love and keep them here, in our neighborhood.  

The family has overcome tremendous hurdles and have been working diligently and responsibly to remedy their situation. They have made remarkable strides and are in the home stretch.  We are asking for your help with this final push in order to get the family to their goal in time for their deadline.

 

The remainder needed is $75,000 by Thursday, June 2nd.

 

As the representative for our “village", a personal account has been set up to manage donations received through this GoFundMe site.  All funds raised will be presented by me to the family as a check and will be applied solely to the acquisition costs of the home.
