Dear teachers, friends, family and kind donors

I am raising funds for a 4 week school expedition to Peru in 2026 with Camps International. The aim of the expedition is to make a positive impact on the lives of the local people in Peru who are not as privileged as us. We will be working on a range of sustainable projects that are meaningful to the community. We will contribute to projects such as building education facilities for local children and building greenhouses to support sustainable food production. We will also be involved in renovating houses and building toilet blocks as some of these rural communities have no sanitation or sewerage. The aim of these projects is to help to improve their quality of life.

By going on this expedition, we will understand the impact of poverty on lives of people and children. We will get the opportunity to learn a different culture and experience how people survive without luxuries.

I am very keen to make a difference in the world and would like the opportunity to make this world a better place for everyone to live in and help improve the quality of life of people living in poverty. Our expedition will create jobs for the local people, and we will be contributing to their economy.

Of course, the trip will give us an opportunity to see the beauty of the Amazon rainforest and understand its contribution to the world. We are also planning to visit the famous Machu Picchu, which will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us.
