Hi everyone,

As many of you know, I’m currently a junior nursing student at the University of Delaware. Through an organization called MedLife, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a service-learning trip to Lima, Peru. During this trip, I’ll be working alongside doctors, nurses, and peers to contribute to development projects, participate in educational workshops, and provide free medical care to those in need. This experience isn’t just about travel—it’s a chance to learn, serve, and grow. I’ll be immersing myself in the local culture, gaining hands-on experience in community health, and learning about the unique healthcare needs and disparities within the communities of Lima. To make this possible, I’m fundraising to help cover the costs of travel, accommodations, program fees, and materials for both development and mobile clinic projects. These funds will also support patient follow-up programs and go toward donations I’ll be bringing, such as gloves, hand sanitizer, batteries, and dental hygiene supplies.
