DV victim care packages
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Cay Hill and I am a DV survivor, I was lucky enough that I didn’t have to flee to a refuge and move miles away from home, I was able to run to family and friends.
Unfortunately not all women are this lucky and some have to move half way across the country in order to protect themselves and/or their children.
What my project aims to do is create care packages for women and children containing a mixture of items from essential self care products to activities/games and treats, in the hope it will not only lift there spirits and provide a distraction but also remind them they are valued, someone cares and there is hope.
Any donations will be used to buy items for the box, you can find the list of items we will be including on my social accounts! We are currently low on the children’s self care items so that is our first priority and we also aim to provide each box with an Easter egg or treat to try keep the upcoming holiday as normal for them as possible!
All donations are documented and receipts can be provided if you’d like to see what your donation bought!
Womens aid will be collecting the boxes at the end of the month and distributing them across the refuges and safe accommodations they support across the country!
I have a goal to make 150 boxes
Thank you for reading and supporting, keep a look out for the results videos!
