My name is Jordan. I am raising money to get my best friend Bo surgery. He is in pain constantly and has trouble sitting and passing stool. South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty says he has a perineal hernia and needs surgery to repair it. I do not have the ability to pay for this surgery alone. Bo is full of love and life; he is my cuddle bug when I lay down, and he is always right there when I wake up. He is the first thing I see when I open my eyes and the last thing I see when I go to sleep. He goes to work with me every day. We do landscaping and lawn care together. He is very smart and just wants to be loved. When I rescued him, he had heartworms and hookworms. He was tied to a tree and didn't have water or food. He was so skinny I could see every bone in his face and body. The worms ate his nutrition to the point that he will never be full-sized; he will eternally look like a puppy Mal. I was told that if I did not take him, they were going to just shoot him. Hearing this, I could not bear to think of that; he was all alone. I got him the procedure to take care of the worms he had, and he has since put on weight. I promised him I would never tie him up like he was when I found him, and I never have. It is hard to ask for help, but I have no choice. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you if you choose to help us. If we do not get the surgery he is looking at constant pain and they tell me that his intestines and/or bladder can be pushed through the hernia and cause an even more dire emergency. I am asking for help to avoid this for him. He doesn't deserve to be in pain, he is just a sweet boy who loves to be loved. Every dollar raised here will go towards his upcoming surgery!
