On the 14.3.25 I found a lump on my right breast. Medway Hospital’s Cancer Ward was amazing and on Mother’s Day this year at 9.10am I had my appointment. Thankfully after a mammogram and ultrasound I was told that I had a cyst. This whole process was a wake up call for how I feel about how I want to live my life moving forward and also made me think of all the men and women who haven’t been given such a positive outcome as me.

I hate cold water and so decided that every month for a whole year I will ‘Dunk my Boobs ‘ in the sea to try and raise some money for ‘The Hope For Tomorrow Charity’ who raise money to fund buses to make cancer treatment more accessible to everyone. Allowing patients to be able to be treated closer to home instead of having 2 hour or more journeys to hospital. Each bus costs £330,000 so any money will be greatly appreciated.
