Our much beloved mother, Margaret Sharkey passed away peacefully in January of this year.

In her last 18 months, she had the good fortune to benefit from the outstanding care and attention offered by the wonderful staff in Dungloe Community Hospital. During this time, our family were witness to the empathy and genuine care displayed by all the hospital staff, never more evident than in her final weeks.

As a small token of our gratitude, members of Margaret’s family will tackle the Wild Atlantic Adventure Race (www.waar.ie) to raise funds for Dungloe Community Hospital Patients Comfort Fund.

Through donations and community support, the fund assists the dedicated staff by contributing towards essential amenities and services such as comfortable seating, entertainment options, and day trips, all of which add to the patients' overall quality of life.

All donations will be greatly welcomed by this worthy fund and will be much appreciated.
