Ducks fly together-Hartwell fund

Our friend Derek needs our help to battle his recently diagnosed Stage IIB Lymphoma cancer.  

Bummer
Just days after his 29th birthday, Derek took a trip to the hospital after his prescribed respiratory infection meds didn't seem to be kicking the problem he'd been experiencing for a few weeks.  The doctors were concerned and decided to take a few x-rays.  Unfortunately, they found a mass on Derek's lung and in his bronchial tubes.  The biopsy confirmed that it was Lymphoma.

High Hopes
His spirits are high as he maintains his wonderful sense of humor through this stage in his life.  What would knock most of us down without question, Derek is optimistacally pushing through.  It's not a question of "if" but "how soon" Derek will give his cancer the ol' Hadoken!

Going Forward
-Keep Derek and his family in your prayers and thoughts.  Pray for peace and strength for all, as well as wisdom for his doctors.

-If possible, donate what you can in order to help cover both Derek's hospital costs, as well as his future medical expenses and those accrued while he's away from work.
