Dublin does Wuthering Heights for Women's Aid
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Women's Aid, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that benefits so many women and their children when they may feel they have nowhere to turn.
New to Dublin, an upselling point for a house I was viewing was that "The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever" was danced regularly in July in St Anne's Park, nearby. My London Dance buddies were all for a mass invasion to me once I'd moved! Now I'm here, life took over for everyone and so it's just gonna be me doing my best Kate Bush moves. BUT you can still help me raise a bunch of money for Women's Aid here? The Magdalene laundry stories are becoming more widely known as the dark tentacles of abuse reach forward, but misogyny deforms lives everywhere, and regrettably, always. I'm comfortable with putting myself out there, for women who can't - so any help you can give would be fab. Here's the 2017 Dublin crew doing their stuff!
More information about Women's Aid: Women's Aid is a leading national frontline organisation supporting women and children subjected to domestic violence including coercive control in Ireland. We run the 24hr National Freephone Helpline on 1800 341 900 and an Instant Message Support Service www.womensaid.ie.
We also act for justice and social change by raising awareness, advocating for legal and systems change and by providing expert training to frontline organisations and employers on how to respond to anyone disclosing abuse.
