Hello,
I have 2 amazing, caring, and extremely understanding kiddos! Our family has gone through so much from their dad (my husband) passing away in 2017, moving away to a brand new city far away from where they felt comfortable, losing other very close family members, to having surgeries and more! My kids have been so caring, respectful and understanding through all of our trials. I STRONGLY FEEL THEY DESERVE SO MUCH MORE!
Backstory:
I've been paying for a motel since November when we had to leave our home of 5 years so the park owners could tear my home down to bring in a brand new one. As expensive as it has been, I had to do what I had to for my family. Unfortunately, I was let go from a job I worked at for 1.5 years. It was devastating and completely shock to me. I've now been off work for a month. My savings has dwindled and I've had to move to a completely different motel. All the while looking for a job every day. This has left me unable to pay the rent every week here at motel 6.
My kiddos and I were accepted into a homeless shelter that will give us a place to live while helping me get back to work and saving for an apartment. The bad news is there is a 3-month waiting list. Which is why I wanted to start this campaign. My kids don't deserve to be
Living in a motel!
Which brings me to right here, right now! I'm asking to help me raise at least $1500.00 for our next several weeks at the motel until we can find a new home or the shelter has a room available for us.
I wanted to add a breakdown on how i will spend the funds when I recieve them. I will fist pay Motel 6 for the next several weeks, allowing us to stay until our spot opens at the homeless shelter. I will then put the rest in savings to assure I will have 1st, last months rent and a security deposit. I pray my kids can experience feeling safe in their own home again, very soon!
Thank you so very much for taking the time to read our story!! Please continue to share our story so we may achieve our GOAL! ❤️
