Fire recovery

My name is Sondra Lintelmann- Dellaripa. My brother and I grew up and live(d) in Old Saybrook. Many of you may know our family. We are grateful to all of you.

last night, January 6th, 2023 my brother’s house, our grandparents ancestral home, was destroyed by a devastating fire. Everything is gone. He and Molly got out with their Rottweiler Tank and the clothes on their back. Eric didn’t even have shoes.

Praise God they are safe.

This is devastating.

he has two teenage kids. Thankfully they were not at home.

They have lost everything. Clothes, electronics, household items. All of his business records, tools, and equipment. Eric is self employed as a painting contractor. Everything is gone.

All his family pictures and videos. Everything gone.

For the time being they are staying at our parents. So many of our family, friends, and community have reached out to help and we thought this might be an answer to the requests to give.
