On Sunday, Oct 30th, My parents house caught fire. Luckily, no animals or humans were injured. As I’ve talked to them, everyone is somehow, in great spirits. The community has rallied, and their church has given them a temporary place to stay. But as they begin to assess damage, and rebuild, expenses are piling up.

They will need to pay for smoke restoration damage, and will need new furniture for what cannot be salvaged. Some of the family has lost all of their clothing, and it all adds up.

They are not asking for help, but I know my parents have meant a lot to all of you over the years, so if you’d like to help them rebuild, or even just reach out for a note of encouragement, everything helps. Thank you!
