Hi friends of Katy, David and Denise Harris.

We are in a very difficult and emotionally draining situation and are reaching out for support from our people. It’s actually for our Mother and Mother in Law, Melinda Harris Jordan, who needs financial help to hire an attorney to divorce her abusive, neglectful and absentee husband. She is going to be 80 years old this year and has been left almost completely destitute. There are so many reasons that divorce is inevitable/unavoidable and we need to move fast. She has suffered severe emotional abuse as well as through a fractured vertebrae, a broken hip and a fractured pelvis. After multiple hospital admissions for these injuries and stays for physical therapy, she is able to get around and start living again. Once she is divorced, she can put their house up for sale, hopefully sell it quickly, and have her own money to buy somewhere to live, to call her own, and live out the rest of her life in happiness and with peace and dignity.
