Stand with Ashley in Her Custody Battle

my name is Ashley and I am going through some of the hardest times of my life. As we speak, I am fighting to have rights to my child.

i am a single mother trying my best with everything we have going on in our world today.

In 2020, the world was impacted by COVID 19. I work in the health care field as a dialysis technician. When no body was allowed to go out at certain times of the night, I was still needed at my job. When school went complete remote, I was still needed at my job. Working with the non affected patients and Covid patients. Therefore, homeschooling was not possible for me. I wasn’t able to quit my job and I couldn’t do remote online schooling with my then, 10 year old. So, the only thing I knew that was best was to allow my son to live with his father. Hardest choice I have ever made in my life. During all of that time, his father chooses to take me to court for custody and for me to only have weekend visitations with the exceptions of 1 to 2 weekends a month.. Hardest part of parenting is going from a full time mother to only seeing your child on weekends. Needless to say, my mental health has shattered me into pieces and I’m trying so hard to pick them all back up and continue with life. I am able to do so with 1 problem. Fast forward to today. I am now blocked from all contact. His father hasn’t allowed me any of my court ordered time, I’m not being told of anything that I am needing to kno(which includes going out of state with my child, medical issues that I need to kno.. etc) and parental alienation is full force now. His father refuses to allow me and Tyson to have a relationship in fact he wants to destroy it so that my son has nothing to do with me…I haven’t had any visitations with my child since the weekend of Feburary 10th of this year.

I have cried to my lawyers, my peers and health care providers of everything that has been going on in my life and this was my only shot at trying to fight back this man.

I have explained to my lawyer about the contempts but nothing has been made in an attempt to get the judge to see the real issues here and I have no where to go from here.
