Farm for Nova Scotia Shelters

We are Collective Acres Farm Association.

In Spring 2025 (just months away!) we are set to break ground on our farm land in Rawdon NS.

Our goal?

To provide farm fresh produce to meet the nutritional needs of those staying in shelters across Nova Scotia. For free!

The current system forces housing organizations to spend their hard-won budgets on over-inflated produce at grocery stores. Meanwhile, those same store report record profits and offer NO discounts to non-profit shelters. We have a plan to step in and farm produce specifically to feed the people who need it most.

We need your help to get started.

We are waiting on good news about government and business grants, but the seasons won’t wait with us! To meet our goals, we need to start building now.

A donation of any amount will help us get seeds in the ground, and foods into the mouths of our neighbours. These donations will go directly to the materials we require to get growing.
