Our IVF Journey

Hi my name is Kezia and this go fund me is set up on behalf of a very close friend of mine. My friend has been going through fertility struggles for the past 15 years and I would really like to help any way I can. Please read her story below and donate if you are able.

I’ve dreamed of being a parent from being a young child, something you take for granted will just happen…….but not for us.

My journey to becoming a mum started around 15 years ago and in that time we’ve lost 9 precious babies, including one following IVF treatment.

Last year I found out that I have a genetic condition, balanced translocation, that impacts on fertility and increases the chance of miscarriage. This is something that the hospital testing missed, a lot of pain and heartache could have been avoided. But here we are continuing to fight to be parents.

Although we are now lucky enough to get IVF on NHS due to the chance of genetic issues, we still have a lot of extra costs for specialist treatment and medications.

After all this time, we have to give this our everything which is why we are asking for your help so we can continue to fund the treatments that we need.

Hoping number 10 will be our lucky one x
