Greek school students of Drymades

Help the children of Drymades attend their Greek school in Himara.
The children of Drymades must pay for their transportation to attend their lessons at Greek school of Himara. The children (10 students) must pay 40 USD per person/per month to the local bus line for their transportation to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon.
The municipality of Himara does not subsidies their bus transportation as they do with the children of the Albanian school because it is not a public school. Therefore, Greek minority parents of Drymades, must pay for the transportation otherwise their children will not be able to attend the Greek school located in Himara, that is 17 km south of Drymades village.
Unfortunately, due to difficult economic state the parents are struggling to pay for their school transportation, specially those parents who have two children attending the school.
Please, support our children to attend their Greek school, so they get education in their mother language and learn the history of their motherland.
Together with the parents of the children, we are looking forward to gathering 4000 USD to cover the school transportation expenses for the school year 2017-2018.
I am originated from the village of Drymades and I have family members living in Drymades who will assit me and make sure that the money will arrive to the parents of the children. Due to the fact that Gofundem does not operate in Albania and bank transaction is not possible, I will withdraw the money from Gofundme and I will send the money directly to the parents who will pay for the transportation of their children. The money will be given to the parents every first week of the month. I will provide you the receipt for these transactions via updates.
Every donation of yours, no matter how small, will help our children attend school and easy the burden from their parents who are currently going through tough times.
