Drought Hay & Grain Funds
Tax deductible
You can make a difference by donating today to Horse Feathers Equine Center to help us raise funds for hay and grain to get through the winter months ahead. Drought has hit here in Oklahoma and prices in our area are higher for hay. Where normally we would pay $50-60 for round bales of hay we are now paying $75-90. These rates require that we raise funds to cover not only the initial hay but the increased costs.
Grain is used to supplement those horses who are in rehab, are elderly, or have teeth issues. These costs have gone up substantially over the last 3 years. A bag of Purina Impact grain costs us $24, Purina Ultium is $30. These are the primary feeds we use to maintain body condition and improve health.
Your donation will help those horses in our care stay at optimum weight and as healthy as possible. Please consider helping those horses who come here in need of our specialized care.
