Drone Search for Lost Dogs (Worcestershire)

To all supporters of Drone Search for Lost Dogs (Worcestershire).

We've started this Go Fund Me so that we can all help with the costs involved in running what we believe to be Worcestershire's biggest and most successful search group for lost dogs.

Keeping everything running does involve quite considerable costs, whether that's for the purchase and maintenance of drones, scopes, insurance and other legal services or other smaller bits of equipment.

The group is led by a small team of local volunteers (admin, drone pilots, tracking dog handlers and ground searchers) who all do this FREE for the love of dogs.

So far, the costs have been carried by the group's founder and a few of the admin team, in addition to the occasional fundraiser for specific items, but we now want to put it out to all members to see if you're able to help in whatever way you can, whether it's just a small donation or larger contribution.

We initially had a £500 insurance bill to pay to cover the group's drones, which has now been covered by your kind donations. We would, however, ideally like to look at upgrading the thermal drones and adding to the fleet, enabling us to have more thermal drone pilots available across the region, with newer drones, etc. Ultimately, our goal is for a waterproof thermal drone, which would mean being able to fly regardless of the weather.
