Drive Thru For Tucson's Frontline

100% of the money is used to buy food from local restaurants who are struggling from the Covid19 closures while feeding our healthcare workers on the front-lines battling this pandemic. This fundraiser will donate $500-$1,000 per meal to feed 50-100 hospital workers and/or first responders. Each day the money needed will be withdrawn to buy from local restaurants to package and safely deliver the meals. Every dollar spent is accounted for by the Drive Thru For Tucson's Front-lines movement to do good in the Tucson community, and pictures of the receipts will be  posted. While many Tucsonans are wondering where to buy groceries and TP, how they’re going to survive without being able to work for an indeterminate amount of time, or if there will be a hospital bed for them if they get sick- there's a group of people that have stood up and decided to take care of us. Health Care workers and First Responders have put aside their worries for their own families and health to show up for us everyday.  I'm Hill Bailey from The Bobby and Bailey morning show on the locally owned radio station The Drive Tucson. We want to do all we can to keep Tucson strong and running to the best of it's ability.  So we have created The Drive Thru For Tucson's Front-lines. With your donations we can purchase meals for our front-line health care workers AND pump money into our local restaurants and our local economy. We’ve seen and shared many headlines this month on the air of people stepping up and helping to feed families, school children, arena workers, etc. and it’s that positive energy and human spirit we need to continue to push forward. It’s our duty to help each other in times of need. It’s the human thing to do; but to keep as many of us as safe as possible we are not asking you to leave your home or drop anything off. Here’s what we’re doing: 1. We’re partnering with local restaurants that are struggling to survive and providing local hospitals with catered meals for their healthcare workers. 2. I’ve created this gofundme to raise money to support these heroes during this incredibly difficult time, 100% of donations will be used to feed our healthcare heroes 3. Depending on the money we raise we will provide as many meals to Tucson-area hospitals and fire departments as we can. The hope is at least one meal per day for as long as they need.
