Help 48 Coffee-Farming Families Cross the Finish Line to Clean Water.
In the remote Cerro Azul highlands of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, 48 hardworking coffee-farming families are closer than ever to a dream most of us take for granted: clean, safe drinking water.
While 99% of Costa Rica has access to potable water, these "Ticos" and "Ticas" fell through the cracks. But they didn't wait for a miracle—they started building one.
In the last year alone, these families have:
- Dug a deep well by hand.
- Raised funds through local bingos and events to buy a pump and tank.
- Hand-mixed concrete for the storage pad.
- Begun digging kilometers of trenches to lay the foundation for their future.
The Final Hurdle: We Need You to Bridge the Gap
They have the well, the pump, and the grit—now they just need the kilometres of pipe to bring that water into their homes.
As neighbors who have experienced their incredible kindness firsthand, we’ve already stepped in to help. Now, we are inviting you to be the final piece of this puzzle.
Your gift today provides the missing link:
$25 buys 4 meters of heavy-duty piping.
$500 provides the special valves for the pipeline.
$1000 connects an entire household to the new system.
These families have done 90% of the heavy lifting. Will you help them with the final 10%?
