Trikone Chicago is marching in Chicago Pride in 2025, celebrating five successive years of representing the South Asian/Asian-American LGBTQIA+ community well as their friends, families, allies, ancestors, and loved ones in this historic parade.
Trikone Chicago is a volunteer-run, registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting queer South Asians, along with their family, friends, allies, and broader community. We invite you to come celebrate queer existence and joy with us; this show of strength and unity is especially crucial at a time when our people are being explicitly targeted for their gender identities, sexualities, race, and immigration status.
Several people have asserted over the years that our presence at the parade helped them realize queer Desi community existed in such numbers around them. At a time when our people feel more isolated than ever, our visibility as an organization has become even more vital.
Thank you for helping us raise over $10,000 for Trikone Chicago and the parade since 2019. Your generous support helps fund parade entry fees, vehicle and trailer rental for the float, gas, and water for the marchers. We hope you will chip in this year as well so we continue to make our presence felt as a vibrant space for queer and trans South Asian Chicagolanders and more folks in need of community and support can find their way to us.
